The newest project in the Norwich Opportunity Area is a programme of activity to improve the transitions process as children move between schools, in order to help all pupils achieve their potential.
In the academic year 2019-20 we are focusing support on the transition to high school between Years 6 and 7. Our work focuses on 4 key areas:
- Improving the quality and efficiency of information sharing between schools
- Building resilience for transition
- Sharing good practice and information about each phase of a child’s educational journey
- Bridging the curriculum between key stages 2 and 3
Our transition work is managed by Emma van Deventer, our Transition Project Manager, who can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org and 07917 553705
