A repeat of the first successful event held at Norwich City Football Ground in October 2019 where almost 1,000 Year 11 students attended to explore their post 16 options.
We invite sixth forms, apprenticeship providers, colleges, universities, training providers and importantly employers who offer opportunities to school leavers to attend. The ambition of this event is to showcase to students the full and varied array of options available to them after Year 11.
A citywide collaborative event feels even more important this year with the expected pressures in September on schools, providers and businesses to commit time to attending this kind of event.
We hope to go ahead with a “face to face” event at the Top of the Terrace at Norwich City Football Club. Depending on the Covid-19 guidance at the time, we may restrict attendees to a smaller group of students from each school rather than whole year groups. This would be for students who are undecided about their next steps and would benefit from attending most.
In addition, we will run an Instagram Takeover version of the same event for young people to access information about next steps online.
We will ask you to confirm planned student numbers to attend for a specific time slot – student spaces will limited.
You can also sign up for a school’s reserve ticket if you wish to bring more students than spaces available, we will review the reserve list nearer the time to see whether we are able to increase student numbers.
